Siam Gardens.
A big hello to all who stopped at our stall in the Town Hall! It was lovely to meet so many people interested in joining us to help make Sudbury greener.
Why not pop along to Siam Gardens this Friday, 10 March, to say hello and see what we do? We will be there at roughly 10:00 – 11:00am, before moving on to the raised beds outside the entrance to the Kingfisher Leisure Centre at around 11:00-12 noon. The edible bed needs a bit of a tidy up and we will take a fresh look at the wildflower bed.
A quick reminder that Darren Lerigo’s talk is on Sunday afternoon, 12 March at the Quay Theatre – it promises to be an interesting and useful talk. We hope to see you there.
Come along and say hello!
Oooops!
The bright sparks among us have spotted that the poster for Sudbury on Show tomorrow must have been an old one, with the wrong date. My apologies. As soon as I receive a copy of this year’s poster I will put it on the blog. Thanks to Kate!

Greener Folk!
We spent Saturday at St Peter’s church meeting other like-minded ‘green’ folk, so for those who picked up a card, and are checking out greener Sudbury’s blog for the first time – a warm welcome!
Delighted to meet Ellie, a representative from Eden Rose Coppice, Little Ropers Woodland Camping and the Stour Valley Education Network. For those of you on facebook, I’d recommend heading over to https://www.facebook.com/stourvalleyeducationnetwork/ to have a look at what they do, if you don’t already know. Tremendously worthwhile, as well as inspirational, good fun and, incidentally, just the sort of thing that gets you on telly – Monty Don fans will know that he visited the Eden-Rose Coppice in Ipswich for the Big Dreams Small Spaces tv show this week. Well worth a watch – if you missed it, catch up on BBC iplayer.
